About Wild West
The Wild West slot machine game is one which has been designed and developed by NextGen Gaming, and as its title suggests, this is a Wild Western themed video slot. This is a very simple video slot, featuring just 10 paylines on its 5 reels. On the upside, the slot is dirt cheap to play. The cheap as chips wagers stem from just 10p per spin, up to no more than £100 a spin. Players will also prosper from a non-progressive jackpot which can be worth as much as 1,000 coins to you at the end of the day. You can also play with a Super Bet feature to enhance your special features in this slot. Naturally, that costs more per spin.
Wild symbols appear as cowboys in this cartoony wild west slot. Wilds can trigger a free spins bonus round if you’ve opted to play with the Super Bet feature (which we don’t really like). When the cowboy appears on a winning payline, players will land a total of 5 free spins. During those spins, players can bag extra cash prizes when chip stacks appear on the reels.
Players will also notice that a gamble feature has been included in this slot machine game. It can offer players the chance to gamble their winnings by guessing whether the next card will be a red or black card, or guess the suit. They can double or quadruple their winnings with this feature.
We’ve already discussed that in order to play with bonus features, players are going to need to play with the Super Bet feature. This is a harsh rule and one which is not going to find too much favour with slot players. Personally, we’d rather have slightly higher stakes and better bonus features because the Super Bet cost does quite equate to what you get in value with this slots bonus round.
Wild West has a great theme and top notch cartoony graphics. That Super Bet feature is a bit of a kill joy, though. It seems like a bit of a bum deal if you ask us, and it kind of puts a damper on the whole slot in general.
