Reels of Fire
Childlike, cute and cuddly seem the hallmarks of Core Gaming’s Reels of Fire slot. There is nothing terribly serious about this game, which features a likeable wizard, books of spells, adorable dragons and more goodies present on the reels. Reels of Fire is based on standard and generic slot gameplay, so expect 5 reels and 20 paylines of action, with players able to bet anything from 20p per spin up to £100 per game in all. Admittedly, the non-progressive jackpot in this slot machine is a little on the light side, at just 20x your total stake.
Players will note that to the left of the reels there is a multiplier meter. This can rise with each consecutive win that a player lands. In all, you could multiply your winnings by as much as 10x the normal rate of pay by bagging successive wins on the spin. Keep an eye out for the wizard, too, since he can cast a spell which will push you higher up the meter in a randomly triggered bonus known as the Magic Multiplier.
At any point in the game, the wizard can also splash several wilds onto the reels (Wild Wizard bonus), with between 1 and 5 wilds appearing and substituting for all other icons save for the bonus icons.
Players who managed to land bonus symbols on the first, third and fifth reels will trigger a free games feature. Landing them on just the first and third reels may see a re-spin feature give you a second chance at landing the final icon. In the bonus, players will get a total of 15 free spins, with ignition icons capable of firing up symbols. Lighting up 3 of them will offer stacked wilds for the feature.
Reels of Fire is interesting. Graphically and from a payline perspective it appears rather generic and child-friendly, but once you get to the nitty-gritty of the features, you can see that this Core Gaming developed actually has a lot to offer casino players.
