Past the Post Gameplay

As we’ve just mentioned, Past the Post is a horse-racing themed slot, which boasts 243 ways to win. This means that players needn’t worry about creating combinations on traditional paylines, as the game will pay out for any sequence of three or more symbols which starts on the leftmost reel.

Graphically, the slot sticks to its theme well. The reels hang against a racetrack and symbols in the game include various horses, jockeys and spectators.

Past the Post also includes wild and scatter symbols. The wild is represented by the trophy, and this can appear on reels 2, 3 and 4. It will substitute for any other symbol (apart from the scatter) to create a winning combination.

The game’s scatter symbol is represented by the tote money bag. This is the games highest paying symbol and will reward you with 50x your wager for a 5 of a kind combination. What’s more, the scatter symbol pays both ways, giving you more chances to win big.

Bonus Features

Aside from the wild symbols, Past the Post only includes one bonus feature and this is the free spins round. Don’t worry, however, as it can be very rewarding!

To activate the free spins round, players must land three scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. They can then pick a number of free spins, each with a different multiplier.

Essentially, the more spins you pick the lower the multiplier. So for example, collect 20 free spins with a 2x multipler or 5 free spins with a 10x multiplier.

The free spins round can be retriggered up to a maximum of 15 times, which means there’s potentially a whopping 300 free games available!
