About Egyptian Riches
Egyptian Riches is a WMS Gaming developed slot, and like most Ancient Egyptian themed games, it features pretty stereotypical imagery on its reels. We’re looking at scarabs, the Eye of Horus, cartouches, cats, and vases here. Egyptian Riches is played over a standard 5-reel, 20-line structure and it features a RTP rate of 95.99%, which is pretty decent for WMS Gaming. The slot will cost you anything from 1p up to £100 per spin. With a bit of luck, you’ll be taking home a pocketful of treasure to the tune of 250x your total bet in this non-progressive jackpot slot.
What Egyptian Riches is woefully short of, is special features. The slot contains a wild symbol in the shape of the Egyptian Riches logo, and it is this wild that will substitute for all other icons, save for bonus icons. Aside from that, it doesn’t really do much.
The bonus symbol is the Egyptian Queen. She hasn’t got a name, but there is a vague similarity between her and Elizabeth Taylor’s portrayal of Cleopatra. It is not a very good likeness (because the graphics in the slot are below par), but it’s recognisable enough. Bonus icons can trigger a special feature when 3 or more appear anywhere on the screen at any one time.
Once the bonus feature begins, players will be shown fire scarabs. They must then choose one of these beetles to pocket an instant cash prize. Players will then be invited to select one of several treasures on the screen. Each pick will offer cash prizes until you locate the collect icon. You can pocket multiple prizes until the collect icon spells the end of your bonus round.
There is nothing overly special about Egyptian Riches. Its features are substandard at best, and its graphics are woeful in comparison to some of the other Ancient Egyptian themed slots out there. We should remember that this slot is considerably older than many of those games, though. It’s worth a punt if you like this theme in your slots, but there’s nothing to write home about.
